Lots of wonderful books about Singapore and Asian cuisine had been published over the years. Although this website is dedicated to Singapore food history, the books recommended will extend further from its shore. After all Singapore's cuisine is influenced by the cuisine of its people's ancestral lands and its neighbours in Asia.
In a separate page, I have commenced a bibliography of Singapore Food & Drinks to collate all that had been published on this topic, so that this might build a base to advance the study of Singapore culinary history.
